" Algorizin's drive to make all immigrants feel at home in this foreign land is very commendable. "
Hi, I’m Manjeet Chapagai. I came from Nepal. Currently working at PWI as an Automation Engineer.
What were your biggest struggles in America? How did you overcome the challenge?
Before finding my way into algorizin, I hit rock bottom of my life. It was all challenging to deal with graduating when the entire world was collapsing to pressure from back to home to return. At the same time, I had very little time left to work on my visa status.
But just then, on the very first day of my enrollment, Algorizin helped me with my OPT extension!
How was your experience in Algorizin?
Something very commendable about Algorizin would be their drive to make all immigrants feel at home in this foreign land. Their community is very empowering and helpful every step of the way. I went from not knowing coding to learning how to code in 6 months, which is 50% of what my job entails now. All thanks to the mentors at the organization.
They were highly supportive and always encouraging. The team I was a part of at Algorizin was very motivated; the team helped make the job hunt process more accessible and less stressful and gave me peers with who I still am in touch!
Do you have anything else to add?
Overall, it was not just an experience, it was a story. It was a story they helped me write, where in the end, I landed a job in an organisation where I am the only immigrant! One step at a time, let’s do this Algorizin!
