Introduction
Hi! I am from Bangladesh. I came to the US in December of 2019 as an International Student.
The pandemic began just after I arrived. Physically, I attended university for two or three months, and then everything became remote. As a result, I had a lot of difficulty networking because I didn't get to meet many individuals throughout my stay here.
Three months before graduation, I began looking for work. That's when I discovered Algorizin.
What were your biggest struggles in America? How did you overcome the challenge and what did you learn from it?
I arrived in the United States just before the outbreak began. The pandemic started in March 2020, and I arrived in December 2019. As a result, I didn't get many opportunities to meet new individuals.
I believe this was the most challenging task for me. However, I tried to focus on my academics and objectives during this time. Furthermore, I didn't know who to connect with was a significant source of frustration for me. I didn't know many people to network with because I didn't meet new individuals.
So, I didn't know how to expand my network. Another issue was that recruiters in this region prefer candidates with prior experience, which I lacked. It was heartbreaking for me since I tried to find a job that suited my skills no matter how hard, I could not do so due to a lack of experience.
